Teaming: Because teams are more than a sum of their parts

Teams need to be agile in our rapidly changing world, equipped with the skills to overcome challenges and adapt with technology.

That’s where teaming comes in.

Teaming is a combination of mindset and practice - a dynamic activity, a verb - teamwork done flexibility on the fly.

Teams are not simply a set of roles and responsibilities. Teams are fundamentally interactional entities. They are made up of individuals who need to be ready to progress forward towards their goals.

Successfully teaming teams are characterised by four core actions: Speaking Up, Collaboration, Experimentation, and Reflection. These four tenets form the basis of everything we do here at TeamingSmart.

Virtual teaming: Adapting to a changing world

Flexibility and remaining agile is vital for all teams, but it is particularly important for those that are remote and hybrid.

Technology can enable interactions, but at the same time present constraints and challenges. Teaming provides the toolset needed to streamline communications as teams navigate these constraints and challenges as they progress towards their goals.
